Support our work

Help to protect and share the wonder of Antarctica and its heritage.

A gift to the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust is a gift to Antarctica. By supporting us, you can help conserve historic buildings and artefacts in Antarctica and contribute to the protection of its unique natural environment and wildlife. Every donation and membership enables us to continue the conservation work and develop exciting community and cultural programmes to share Antarctica’s story.

With your help, we can preserve the past to protect the future of Antarctica.

How to support our work

Blaiklock Island The refuge in need of rescue

This season, we are prioritising repairs at Blaiklock Island Refuge, a hut frozen in time. Located on a wild and rocky island, it is a museum in miniature and a time capsule of Antarctic life. The glacier which once surrounded the refuge is now open sea, and warmer conditions are causing faster degradation of wood and metal. The site is now in urgent need of repair.
