Join us as a Port Lockroy Patron, providing ongoing support towards the upkeep of Port Lockroy and our other historic sites. The conservation and maintenance of remote historic buildings exposed to extreme conditions requires expertise and philanthropy.
Patronage is recommended as £50 ($70) per month, or £600 ($820) a year.

How will it help?
As a Port Lockroy Patron, you will support our programme of inspection, surveying, recording and conservation of the building fabric and artefacts. This season, we will be undertaking vital maintenance work, such as painting, treating timber and cleaning historic objects. Your donation will also enable us to continue our gentoo penguin population monitoring and to gather climate data with our new weather station – a fitting testament to the pioneering scientists once residents of our huts.
