The British Antarctic Territory issued its first ever legal tender commemorative coins to commemorate the centenary of the Granting of Letters Patent in 2008. Since then a series of coins have been produced, with more planned for the future. The coins are available in both cupro-nickel and sterling silver in £2 denominations, and all coins feature the HM effigy on the obverse. The sterling silver coin also comes in a presentation case with a certificate of authenticity signed by the Administrator of the British Antarctic Territories. These coins make an excellent souvenir for both those who have visited the British Antarctic Territory, and those with an interest in Antarctica.

Due to a number of countries cancelling flights to and from Europe, and countries within the EU shutting borders or implementing lockdown, almost all international mail and parcel deliveries are experiencing delays. UK deliveries should not be affected.

Because of this, it will take longer for us to get your order to you. We expect to see delays of up to two to four weeks to some destinations. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this period.
