Double your donation between 22nd – 29th April Big Give Green Match Fund
The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust is taking part in the Big Give Green Match Fund – a national fundraising campaign raising funds for environmental causes. Between the 22nd – 29th April, we will be launching an appeal to raise £10,000 towards our penguin study in Antarctica and a new weather station to monitor climate change at our sites. Every donation made during the week will be doubled.
During the week, you can also Adopt a Penguin with a donation of £75, helping to support our penguin study and conservation work at Port Lockroy, whilst also receiving a lovely gift for yourself or a loved one. Our new 12-month adoption scheme is unique to the colony at Goudier Island, and you’ll receive a welcome pack, updates from the colony, cuddly penguin and a postcard from Antarctica. What’s more, in the week your donation will be matched to £150!

The gentoos of Port Lockroy are perhaps some of the most famous penguins in the world! The colony made their home with us on Goudier Island over 30 years ago and we have been studying and contributing to their protection ever since. By choosing to Adopt A Penguin during the Big Give Green Fund week, your donation fee of £75 will be doubled and will make a huge difference in enabling us to continue our work protecting our Gentoo colony at Port Lockroy.
