SHACKLETON'S HUT REPORT
The conservation team at Shackleton's hut at Cape Royds has excavated five crates of whisky and brandy.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference
£25 will enable the conservation of a food item
£100 will enable the cleaning and conservation of textiles such as Scott’s sleeping bag or the snowshoes worn by Oates’ ponies
£1000 will pay for a section of the hut to be protected against the weather for another 100 years
