Alan Carroll
Historical Advisor

Alan was base leader at Port Lockroy in 1957. Ever since the 1996 restoration of Bransfield House he has worked tirelessly restoring the ionosonde, countless radios, and other scientific equipment. He went South again in 2006 to advise on layout and artefacts. Alan advises us on the artefacts in Port Lockroy and on the history of the station and life on Base A.
